It has been a while since I posted a proactive type of post just for you, so with that in mind, I am doing so now. I am linking you in this article to things I use because I was asked about it. As someone who was diagnosed with many invisible diseases (autoimmune Hashimoto’s is just one), I want to keep you informed about what I have been doing for myself in order to help you as well think about your loved ones who might be immune compromised.
I wake up and stand in front of the windows taking in as much sun as possible first thing in the morning. But I also take my Vitamin D, and I would suggest you do the same. Each word will be linked with what I buy. Many of you also know I have a gene that doesn’t always allow me to process things on a cellular level as rapidly as others (MTHFR- looks like a bad word, gene mutation). Even without that, approximately 75% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D, and I also have Hereditary Hemochromatosis and PCT, long story with that, but have to be careful with sunlight anyway. Get your vitamin D panel done at the doctor and see how low you are before you take.
Now because of said things above, I also take a B, but you don’t have to unless you can’t process things and your body is like mine. Honestly, it supports you with all kinds of good things, so read about my Methyl B-12 here. Methylcobalamin (Methyl B-12) is the Most Bioavailable and Best Utilized Form of Vitamin B-12. This is my SECRET, hidden gem. You only need if you have immune issues and seasonal vertigo with your immune issues. I have that. I researched and dug through countless hours of medical papers and found a note on one guy’s study. I tried it and I swear by it. It is a pine bark extra called Pycnogenol and I love it. It claims to do loads of things not validated by FDA, but whatever. I think it’s the bees knees and do not suffer from the things I did previously. Post-menopausal? Read more as you will like this.
